EXPERIENCES
Working on Major Project I was quite a rewarding experience for me as I get to develop my skills in teamwork, idea creation and project planning. Collaborating with my team to come up with a project idea and pre-planning to bring it to life through structured planning was both exciting and challenging. Initially, the process of brainstorming and aligning our ideas into a cohesive concept felt overwhelming, as we had to consider multiple aspects, from feasibility to execution.
I felt a bit confusing at first, I found it difficult to organize our ideas and translate them into a concrete proposal. However, through consistent discussions, research, and feedback from our lecturers, Mr. Kamal and Mr Kannan, we gradually refined our project plan. Learning how to evaluate the technical feasibility of our idea was a new experience for me, but with determination and the will to challenge the obstacles ahead, my teammates and I planned to tackle the challenges by researching and practicing instead of giving up from the start.OBSERVATIONS
I realized that developing a project is not just about having a good idea. It’s about structuring and presenting it in a way that makes it viable and achievable. A well-thought-out proposal requires thorough research, planning, and consideration of technical and logistical factors.
Additionally, I noticed how crucial teamwork and communication are in project planning. Effective collaboration ensures that ideas are aligned, tasks are distributed efficiently and problems are tackled collectively. This experience also made me appreciate the importance of planning in any creative or technical endeavor, as it lays the foundation for smooth execution.FINDINGS
One of the most significant lessons I learned from this project was the importance of technical feasibility in bringing an idea to life. A creative concept alone is not enough, it needs to be practical and implementable within given constraints. Learning to assess the feasibility of a project where considering aspects such as skillset, teamwork and timeline helped me develop a more structured and analytical approach to problem-solving.
From refining our proposal to ensuring that our project was realistic and achievable, every step of the process contributed to my understanding of effective project development. This experience reinforced the value of meticulous planning, adaptability and teamwork in turning an idea into a well-executed project.
