LECTURES / TUTORIALS
Week 5⇒ Double Exposure
TUTORIAL
For week 5, Mr Martin taught us how to do a double exposure. We got to
learn more tools like gradient maps, layer masking images and levels in Photoshop.

Week 6⇒ Photo Manipulation
TUTORIAL
For today's class, Mr Martin taught us how to use the distort filter
and smart filter to do displacement in Photoshop. We were told that we
must place image with a photoshop file as Photoshop couldn't recognize
other format

Week 7⇒ Cyborg
TUTORIAL
For our seventh week, Mr Martin introduced us a new tool which is the
stamp tool, where we can use it to stamp the background. After that, we
were given a tutorial on how to turn a human being into a
cyborg.

Week 8⇒ Self Learning Week
Week 9⇒ Flower Face Effect
TUTORIAL
For this week, Mr martin taught us how to make a flower face effect in Photoshop. We learnt a new tool which is the layer via cut tool where u may separate the image into 2 after tracing with the pen tool.

EXERCISE⇒ DOUBLE EXPOSURE
For our first exercise, Mr Martin introduced Double Exposure to us, which can be related as a technique that combines two different exposures or images that are layered on top of each other. Mr Martin begam by giving us a tutorial on how to do a basic double exposure and instructed us to design a creative double exposure.
RESEARCH
To have a head start, I started by doing some research on Pinterest and Google to have an idea on examples of double exposure design.

FINAL DOUBLE EXPOSURE LAYOUT
After getting feedbacks from Mr Martin and improving my layout, I finalize my final double exposure layout with attempt 3.

EXERCISE⇒ PHOTO MANIPULATION
For our second exercise, Mr Martin introduced Photo Manipulation to us, which involved transforming or altering a photograph using various methods and techniques. For this exercise, we were instructed to think of two different objects and merge them together as one however able to mislead a viewer's view. RESEARCH

SKETCH
After doing some research, I started sketching my idea out

After getting feedbacks for my sketch from Mr Martin, I chose the lightbulb and egg idea and started on the next step which is digitizing my ideas in Photoshop

FEEDBACK
WEEK 6
- Double exposure too simple
- Can be improved
- The theme of my double exposure is irrelevant with the main idea of the task
- The sketch for photo manipulation quite ok
WEEK 7
- Double exposure look nice
- Layout for photo manipulation quite ok however need some improvement
WEEK 9
- Layout for photo manipulation quite ok
Learning Digital Photography and Imaging was quite interesting as we get to learn many new stuff this week like how to do double exposure and photo manipulation. I also found interesting that we get to be so creative and fun with just a basic image of ourself as well as bringing two very different objects and merging them together as one trying to mislead a viewer's view. This week's task was an upgraded version challenge for me as it needed the combination skill's of task 1 and 2, however with the guidance I got from Mr Martin and my friend, I managed to finish the tasks.
