For the first idea, I designed it to have a more scattered and freedom layout. The scattered arrangement makes the infographic feel dynamic and engaging. It gives a sense of movement or flow, making the information look more interactive.

For the second idea, I designed it with rectangular layouts like layouts in a book. The structured rectangular arrangement makes it easy to compare different categories visually. The alignment and positioning of elements help maintain clarity in data organization.

For the third idea, I designed the infographic with circular and radial layout. It was inspired with the firework we had during Chinse New Year. The radial design naturally draws attention to the relationships between different elements. It provides a balanced look, making it visually appealing and easy to understand connections.
Learning Infographic Design was quite a rewarding experience for me as I get to deepen my understanding of infographics and visual storytelling. Starting a new module on Infographic Design was like entering a secret world that I never existed. Throughout this module, I not only improved my ability to organize and present information effectively but also enhanced my design and layout skills.
I felt a bit confusing at first, I found it challenging to balance aesthetics with clarity when choosing the right colors, fonts and layouts while ensuring the information remained easy to comprehend. However, through practice and constructive feedback from my lecturer, Mr. Shamsul, I gradually learned how to create visually compelling and informative designs. Experimenting with various infographic styles, from data visualization to process diagrams, helped me refine my skills and understand the impact of effective information design.
OBSERVATIONS
I found out that Information Design isn't just about making things look appealing. It's about structuring content in a way that enhances understanding and engagement. Infographics are powerful tools for simplifying complex ideas, making data more digestible and guiding viewers through information intuitively.
I also started noticing the use for infographics in our daily life. For instance, advertisement and famous video as well as movie made by others. It's like undercovering or seeing something I once didn't even pay a slightest attention to even though it was there all along.
FINDINGS
One of the most profound revelations during this learning experience was realization of how infographics can shape communication. From organizing statistics in visually engaging charts to illustrating complex processes through step-by-step diagrams, every element in an infographic contributes to storytelling. This experience taught me that effective information design is not just about creativity, it’s about clarity, precision and the ability to convey ideas in a way that resonates with the audience. Ultimately, learning about infographics has given me a new appreciation for the power of design in communication and the endless possibilities it offers.
